Perhaps some time Sir Terry Pratchett will hear these pieces. If so, I hope they make him smile. The entire cycle, as well as the last piece are dedicated to him.
I am, usually, a serious musician. Any serious musician will tell you how much you need humour to survive this world. Much more if you are a composer. Many times the delightful books of DiscWorld, with their wisdom and humour have sustained me.
This is not the kind of music I use to write: for these pieces, I have imagined some folk music of Discworld, as a classical musician could have arranged it for two pianos (I like to imagine the work been performed by André, the policeman and the Librarian).
The MIDI sounds are, as always, terrible (as my English, I am sorry to say). If anytime the works are performed, I will upload the videos.
My apologies to the people whose drawings I have taken from the Internet: I only tried to pay homage to Terry Pratchett, no money or any other kind of profit will come ot any of this.

Quizá alguna vez Sir Terry Pratchett escuche estas piezas. Si es así, espero que le hagan sonreir. El ciclo entero, así como la última pieza, le están dedicadas.
Soy, normalmente, un músico serio. Cualquier músico serio os dirá cuanto humor se necesita para sobrevivir en este mundo. Mucho más si eres compositor. Muchas veces los deliciosos libros de MundoDisco, en su sabiduría y comicidad, me han ayudado.
Esta no es la clase de música que suelo escribir: para estas piezas he imaginado música folklórica de MundoDisco, tal como un compositor clásico podría haberla adaptado para dos pianos (me gusta imaginar la obra interpretada por André, el policía, y el Bibliotecario).
Los sonidos MIDI son, como de costumbre, terribles. Si la obra se interpreta alguna vez, subiré los vídeos.
Mis disculpas a la gente cuyos dibujos he tomado de Internet: sólo he tratado de homenajear a Terry Pratchett, sin ningún propósito de beneficio económico o de otro tipo.
